Along with my criticism, there's an idea circulating the web that when Bush said "Dred Scott," he actually meant "Roe v. Wade." I have to admit, it did seem far-fetched, but there's an interesting case for the idea here.

On another note, this is pretty darn funny. At least somebody's apologizing to the rest of the world.

Farfetched? It's obvious to anyone familiar with anti-abortion literature.

I think that is becoming more apparent, and it's making more sense, them more I think about it. I'm afraid, though, that I don't keep that close an eye on that particular literature. I haven't really been following it. The interesting thing, though, is that I don't know that it maters. Really, did anyone have any illusions about this guy choosing "moderate" justices? I think we all took it as a given that he'd pick anti-choice people.
