Adventures in Driving

Today I almost hit a moose on the way to work.

What you have to know about moose is, they're really, really big, and they'll crunch your car. They're also really mean and aggressive suckers. Avoid hitting them with your car or your fist, because they'll retaliate.

That is all.

I'm never going to bitch about cabbies or bikes while driving ever again.

At least until I drive this morning.

Yup, moose rule the world! When I was living in Anchorage, it was a common occurance to see the main streets at a stand-still during rush hour....because a moose was out for a walk. Noone challenged their authority!

I almost hit a moose exiting Yellowstone. He seemed unfazed by my screeching tires and screams of oh my god, a moose!

Yeah, they're so big and mean I don't think much really gets to them.
