Well, that's the bar, then. The first rule of Bar Club is that you do not talk about Bar Club. The second rule of Bar Club . . .
Hang it. I won't say much, but I think I did ok. I guess I'm sort of Schrodinger's Lawyer. I'm sort of both a lawyer and not a lawyer at the same time, but we won't know for a couple months until someone opens the box.
I would be full of suspense, but I'd really rather just chill for a while, maybe watch a movie with a glass of wine. Plus I need to move starting next week, which will take some time (I've barely started packing).
I'm feeling better today than yesterday. I actually managed to get a fair amount of sleep, and since I've finished all the essay questions that I could, I think I'm pretty ready. This is assuming the actual essays are reasonably similar to the samples.
So. The plan for today is to take it easy. I'll do some light review to keep things sharp (as sharp as they're going to get), and maybe do some more memorization of various elements and tests. Then I'll cook a nice dinner and watch a movie tonight.
Tomorrow will be grueling, but I think I'm as ready as I can get, at least for now.
I don't have to begin my exam until Wednesday, but I know many people (and have sympathy for them) who are taking the exam tomorrow.
I wish the best to all of you. For better or worse, I'm sure we'll all be glad just to get this done.
I've been trying to sleep for about four hours.
I think it's finally getting to me.
Better tonight than Tuesday night.
This makes me feel better, though.
Hate. Bar. My life is me swimming in a sea of multiple choice questions. Good news: rocking ConLaw and Evidence. Bad news: pretty much awful at everything else. Plus I have seventeen (yep, that's seventeen) state subject areas that I must be ready for.
This is not my favorite.
My house gets sweltering. It's not yet 11:30 am, and my indoor temperature has topped 83, and I expect it to climb. Yesterday, it was 97 when I came home from work.
My favorite strategy? Put a couple t-shirts in the cold water rinse cycle, then wear them, replacing each as it dries. The rest go into the refrigerator until I'm ready for them. It's magic!
It's days like these that I can't wait until I move into my new house, where I'll have a basement and much better overall temperature stability. It may still get warm, but not like this.
