I find myself home today rather unexpectedly. I say unexpectedly because I did not know until about 4 pm yesterday that today is a holiday. Not that I object—it gives me the chance to do take care of a few things around the house, like a dead bush that needs removing and I need to make a trip or two to the recycling bins.
And just for fun, here’s a hilarious edition of one of my favorite comics, xkcd. I may get in a game of Sins of a Solar Empire today, but the trouble is that usually even the small, short games take hours. I’d be immersed in Fallout 3 except that it’s a stunningly huge game, and even though I’ve already played for something like 30 hours, I’ve just barely scratched the surface. That’s one to stretch out and consume gradually over time, I think.
