I don’t mind cold weather, but I must admit: even I am ready for spring. My walk home yesterday was in freezing cold (not bad) with the wind in my face at approximately 35 mph (bad) with occasional gusts even stronger (worse). Blech. I like the snow, and there’s been far too little of it this year, but I think it’s time to call it a wash for the season and move on. I need some green things growing in my yard.
Speaking of which, I ordered some fava beans and soybeans (edible kind, not the industrialized variety). I’m pretty sure the fava beans will do well, but I’m not so sure about the soy.
