Growing Rabbit Food

| | Comments (0)

I’ll have a Catblogging post up tonight, but I’m compelled to post about my concern over my garden.  I went for an early-morning run this morning, and probably saw about a dozen rabbits.  Last year, they were eating my hollyhocks and lettuce.  This year, I’m not planning on growing lettuce (I’ll get plenty from the CSA), and I don’t mind the rabbits feasting on the hollyhocks.  I am planning to grow radishes and garlic (which is already sprouting), but those I don’t think I have to worry about.

Worse is the fava beans that I plan on planting in the next couple weeks and anything else I might choose to grow.

So: Anybody have tips on keeping out the rabbits?  I’m hoping to avoid drastic solutions, but I’m willing to experiment with chicken wire if it comes to that.
